The students of SoftServe University were presenting the results of their 3 month studying at the University for 3 days last week. This is a distinctive personal report about yourself and your knowledge in the form of a presentation.
There were 44 participants at the beginning of the training, 38 of them have finished it successfully. They are mainly students of National University “L’vivska Politekhnica”, Ivan Franko National University of L’viv, but also there are a few representatives of “STEP” Academy and Commercial Academy. Among the graduates there are also people with higher education which is not related to IT, who wish to work as developers at SoftServe company. So, with some experience in programming and with the help of the Training Center they are improving their knowledge and retraining for a new profession to become developers. According to Andriy Pereymybida, the manager of SoftServe University, almost all graduates have passed their tests with the average rate exceeding 50%, therefore it can be considered that graduation exams have been passed successfully; that is why after studying at the Training Center the graduates will receive certificates.
Andriy Pereymybida, the manager of SoftServe University: “This graduation of students differs from the previous one because we have used other approaches to teaching. The participants of the 1st graduation training used C++ language and the participants of the second one - used Java and C#. It is not easy to compare them in strength as one can have only subjective impression. However, you can make a conclusion concerning the quality of graduation from the fact that the part of the participants has already been employed at SoftServe while studying at the Training Center. In general there was great enthusiasm among the students over their studying and currently they are expecting to be offered a job.”
Next Monday a new group is starting. The students are going to learn IT in realization of C++; along with it another group is going to be launched with Java as a basic language. By the end of this year approximately 40 people more will have finished a 3 month course of studying.
