The number of young people, aware of the advantages of studying and working at SoftServe has increased by a hundred, since the Training Center of SoftServe company held the open door day this month, the way it’s done in all the reputable educational institutions.
The best fourth and fifth year students of Ivan Franko National University of L’viv and National University “L’vivska Polytehnika”were invited to attend this event. The Managerial Board of the company headed by President Taras Kytsmey made two hours’ presentation to give the young generation the insight into our company and SoftServe Training Center, which helps people get knowledge and practical skills in working with the most up-to-date information technologies.
More than a hundred students listened to the presentation of Serhiy Kharytonov - the Vice President of Technologies, who gave a speech on cutting-edge approaches to software development, employed by SoftServe.
The students found the projects, developed at our company quite interesting, although few of them had little understanding of the technologies employed. Besides, the visitors learned about the opportunity to attend English classes , provided by SoftServe, in order to be able to perform their future work on a high level.
Two of the Training Center graduates delivered presentations, sharing their own vision of studies at SoftServe Training Center, which they had experienced themselves a while before.
To accomplish the two hours’ presentation in the meeting room, the attendees were shown around the SoftServe facilities by SoftServe HR personnel.
Meanwhile, the Training Center is not idle. A new course for newcomers started after the first successful graduates, trained in C++ language had finished their studies.
Last week a new series of lessons was launched in the Training Center, this time for two new groups, one of them working with C#, the other one– with Java.
